I think it's gonna be a big yawn . They're gonna say they believe they're on the right track with the right coaching staff , and that it's just gonna take a little more time to develop .
It'll be be a newsflash like Ted's line here from 1:17 > 1:21

Well if by some miracle Fox does not show up we may have our first surprise of the year, NOT!!!
Don't think so German. I think in Bears fashion, they are worried that they don't have it right but not sure enough to do anything about it yet. And I think the financial component of early change is also going to be a factor for them. I think they stay where they are. But I hope I'm wrong. Just think it's going to be a management justification to the fans why they think they need to stay the course.
what about Loggains? What about a guy like Polian?
Those are VERY good questions. I'll give you my thoughts on Loggains, and I know I am in the minority here. I would rather see Fox leave and keep Loggains rather than the other way around. My areasons are these. I have seem mistakes from both. Fox is not a very good game time coach. JMO. Loggains has not bees as balanced as I would like and moves from the run too quickly.
I have seen progress with Loggains and this is his first time. I do not really expect ANY OC to come in first time and light it up. When you take his season and look at it, I like the progression. I think he is growing (not in height, however). I think he will continue to do that. My two concerns with him are -- will he continue to grow to the point where he is a top guy, and will he be able to understand and make half time adjustments. He needs to be able to do that and in his first year, he did not. So I am ok with him under a new HC for another year to see what happens. In his first year, he held his own. He definitely was not a dumpster fire.
As far as Fox, I think all I can say about him also is that he held his own and was not a dumpster fire. What we hired though was a turnaround guy that we assumed can take us to the SB because he has already. I don't think we have that guy. Therefore, let's move on and get our long term guy.
As far as a Polian guy, I think the team needs that much more than they will admit. I like what I have seen of George in the last two years. This is going to be his call and is one of the things that I am really waiting to hear about during the presser. I think there is a chance because they did meet to discuss the team about 5 games ago. My concern is that Fox gave them enough crap to keep them thinking that no changes were needed and that he was going to change it around. And if they believe that, there is no reason to change any upper structure. All they need is more time.
And that I think is probably the likeliest scenario. They have convinced themselves they have who they need. The season was bad because of injuries and lack of talent only and that with Paces new infusion of talent, we will be ok next year. I do have faith that Pace will bring in more talent. And it is a two edged sword. I think it will get better because of better talent and will mask the Fox issues and we will soldier on at less than optimal with Fox and not meet our potential.
I think they should skip talking to Fox and just talk to Pace and Fangio. At least those two guys can answer questions somewhat honestly. I can't stand listening to Fox take questions.
I'm not expecting anything big. Probably the same bullshit we have been hearing for the past decade or so.
"It was a disappointing year but we're getting on the right track, we have had many injuries, it's gonna be better next year, there's a lot of football left to play, we're gonna get it right next time..." Blah blah blah
No apologies, no one taking full responsibility for that pathetic performance this year, just a bunch of overrated and overpaid clueless guys.
