I wonder how much impact having his own scouts in place for last years draft made. Remember he didn't change much of the scouting staff after he got hired before his first draft...or am I off on that?
I don't have the best memory, but if I remember correctly, he did not have his staff in place (used Emerys staff) for his first draft, but did in fact make wholesale changes before his second draft, so I would say that the second draft was his team. And if I'm wrong here, then I just made it up.
