I'm having doubts we can win this one, but we shall see.
This stinks this early in the season but I'm at the point where it's best if we don't win a game the rest of the season to maximize the draft pick and the probability of Eberflus getting fired.

I feel the same way and to be honest I do hate this feeling. It is a sick feeling. I so wanted Eberflus and this present coaching staff to succeed. They didn't. And they won't. If Poles does not fix this, and fix it right this time - then let's get a GM here who can. Poles has done some good things here, but the #1 job now is to get Caleb Williams to not end up yet another Bears QB failure. Solid coaches and a solid offensive line need to be brought in.
This is so fixable. But the GM has to get it done. I am so tired of hearing "talk" about this from Poles. The coaching staff is a fail. The OL is for sure a failure.
Kind of a cool and rainy day here in the Badger State.
Now I have to decide whether to watch the Bears at noon or watch the Washington vs Steelers game.
Not a big RedZone guy. I watch it a little, but when watching football, I myself like to decide on the games I switch around to.
I will probably start with the Bears game. I have not seen much of Drake Maye yet.
My wife and I were up in Ephraim, Wisconsin a few weeks ago and it was beautiful at that time with the tree colors being fantastic. I am a fly fisherman and I do like fishing in Northern Wisconsin too.
Offensive playcalling is killing us this season. OC doesn't play the psyche game well enough, his pathways are easily read, and he's a system guy not someone who can adjust a team for the talent. The OC isn't good at the psychological game, and opposing DC's are exposing him.

Watching Caleb, he needs to get the ball out faster. When a team is blitzing it opens things up downfield. Audible to a hot route and let it rip. Caleb has trouble identifying stunts and exotic blitzes. Holds the ball too long, always looking for the big play. You have to help your OL out and get the ball out quickly when they are getting tossed around like rag dolls.
Honestly, I think Caleb needs to sit. Problem is the Bears don't have a quality vet for him to develop under. Why didn't they sign Sam Darnold when they had the chance? Kidding, well kind of.
What is Kerry Joseph doing? He is the QB coach right? I don't ever see him near Caleb. Last person you want near Caleb after every series is Waldron. Put Waldron up in the booth, or fire him. Just keep Waldron away from Caleb.
