It's a tough situation now. The coaching staff is not good. At the same time, these final 9 games are all about getting Caleb developed as much as possible for 2025. We need to win some of these games because losing is a disease that can have some lingering harm to Caleb Williams. He needs some wins in these games for his development at this early stage.
These are not great teams that are beating the Bears now. The schedule gets a LOT tougher after next week's New England Patriots game. Caleb is not getting much (if any) development if he gets the loser cycle each week now. Instead he needs to learn how to QB wins. Learning to lose is a disease we don't want him to catch.

The Bears need to win this Patriots game.
I agree. We definitely need to win.
I also do NOT think we should tank. I just trolled that because I wanted to get a feel for how many of us have given up and to get a discussion going as this will be a sad week for all of us meatballs.

I did not really have a position on the Cardinals game as I thought it was going to be a 50-50 proposition, but I think we win this one. At least we should. It may be the last game we win this season.
If the Bears lose the Pats game they face Green Bay the next week. It really could be our last chance at a win next Sunday before the death march to the end of the season begins. Killer hard schedule after the Pats.
They are going to win, its what they do. Either squeak one out or win big and then proclaim that all the soul searching the did made a difference, just to have LaFleur with his backup QB score 45 points, 30 of them in the first half.

The way the Packers looked Sunday, if I was a Bears fan, I wouldn't pencil in a loss. The Lions game was completely unacceptable.
I don't know for sure what the bye week will do, but they need to go to Chicago on the 17th with their hair on fire and play very angry. Show that the Detroit game is not what they are. It's a must win game for Green Bay. Everyone knows it.
I am gonna watch of course but I have given up on this season, at least as far as making a WC goes.
You really needed to win at least 1 of the last 2 games to have a shot at a playoff berth and Flus went 0-2. At this point you'd have to beat NE next week and then still go 5-3 in the last 8, all of which are really tough games.
Maybe Flus will shock me but that is a tall order. More likely we are gonna end up 7-10 with this coaching staff and then start the carousel all over again by replacing Flus A YEAR TOO LATE.
