Interesting tweet, prompted by Godwin going down last night, along with BA in SF. Is it time to cut VJJ loose* or get what you can to protect Johnson?
I'm thinking if Allen goes down (picking the most likely candidate) the room would become
(1) Moore
(2) Rome
(3) Scott
(4) Johnson
(5) Carter**
Which looks a whole lot better than:
(1) Moore
(2) Rome
(3) Scott
(4) Carter
(5) VJJ

* I don't know why they are hanging on to VJJ at this point anyway. He's not active and they would be doing him a favor by cutting him loose to find another position. I'm willing to bet he wouldn't be out of work for more than 1 week. Someone would take a chance on him.
** Carter is PR/KR. I don't want to see him out there running routes with anything more than #4 on the reads. There are 4 receiving options better than him on any given play (Moore, Allen, Rome, Kmet.)
