The Commanders are looking pretty stout on offense, even without J.Daniels. Hope we get some of our injured D guys back for this game. We are going to need them.
A+ Commanders Commanders offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury continues to look like a genius. In a game where Jayden Daniels only played one possession due to injury, the Commanders offense didn't miss a beat. Marcus Mariota came in and threw for 205 yards and two touchdowns as Washington piled up 421 yards of offense. Defensively, Dante Fowler Jr. came up with a pick six on Carolina's first possession of the day and it was all Washington after that (Fowler also had a sack on top of his pick six). There's still a lot of season left, but at this point, the Commanders look like the best team in the NFC East.

So much for this game being easy. They aren't the Vikings but we are going to have to put together a good game to beat them

Yeah, that's why I read these preseason power-rankings of our schedules with a big grain of salt. We are not necessarily playing teams who are the same as they were the previous season. Teams do get better and worse. In the end, for the Bears, there are no easy games... at least the upcoming opponents should always be considered worthy of bringing your "A-game" every gameday. Anyone can beat you in the NFL nowadays. Yes, even doormat teams can... there are upsets all the time. And in a way it's disappointing when Bears fans write off a win as if it was easy. As if the players just had to mail it in for the win.
1. A Bears win will prove that this team is close to legit 2. A Bears win will hopefully shut up the Bears fans who wanted JD over CW.
My prediction:
Bears 34 Commanders 17
Flus has to show me he can win a big game on the road. On paper, we have the better team. Our weapons and defense are definitely better.
Show us you can win a key game on the road, Flus.
It would be a nice win. It would show that the team took advantage of the bye week and had it together for this game (Bears don't always get it done in the bye week, as far as being sharp for the 1st team they face). I'm hoping the defense can tighten up against the run game. It seems like they've slipped a bit in that area. And let's see what Shane Waldron did over the bye week in particular to game plan for this one... will the offense get a faster start in this game, or not?

Greetings from Titletown. Nice to see/meet you all! Long time no see to JABF.
Daniels will be questionable all week, so the Bears will have to prepare for 2 QBs. Gamesmanship by Quinn. 50% chance Daniels plays It will be dependant on the doctors seeing how he moves around and feels with the extra protection they will have on his ribcage.
Game is in Washington. I am going with Wash getting the 1.5. Wash 24 Bears 20. And not going with Wash just because I am a Packers fan.
Don't be like Vikings fans & attempt to team up to get me booted from the board even when following the rules of the forum to a tee! The owner of the Vikings site actually still contacts me. She apologized that her butthurt throng over there were intimidated by me.
Anyhow...
The NFC North is on fire. This is going to be a wild ride the rest of the way. I love that the Pack still have 5 division games left. Watch out for the Kings of The North cuz we are coming! Vikings will fall off a bit. Not worried about them at all.

OneTeamOneNation PackerNation!
Welcome and what an intro.
We have another Packers fan here ptisme , in fact he has been around for a very long time.
We all get along for the most part and rarely anyone gets banned because we refuse to have trolls live rent free in our heads. No politics are allowed and that is pretty much it. Be nice to everyone and understandably expect a little flack. There are a lot of older Bears fans here and well......There is much hatred towards the Pack, as you can understand lol.
Now that the ownership has been transferred over to Love, we all breath a bit easier.

Good point, JABF
Even in this offensive renewal we have seen, we still have sucked in the 1st Q. That needs to get better.

Thank you for the welcome!
The name ptisme seems familiar. Not sure where or when I have seen it before. Perhaps on a Packers forum long ago.
Not worried about being banned. The Vikings forum had no reason to ban me. The owner literally told me that those there were "intimidated" and "fearful" of me.
Looking forward to some positive discourse here.
It's been a fun season so far. Going to be a joy seeing how the North all shakes out. Possible that all 4 teams get in the playoffs. I think it will be 3, but four is indeed possible.
Getting back on topic...
Are Bears fans thinking W because Daniels may not play? Or do you think the Bears can steal a road win against a pretty good team in Washington?
I saw 3 of their games, it is not a team to look past, with or without Daniels.
Wash is well coached as well. I may get hate for this, but I have no confidence at all in Eberflus and staff. The Bears roster is improved, but I think the coaching staff will lead them nowhere fast. For Bears fans sake, I hope they don't keep him because they rack up 8 or 9 wins this season.
I am sure Bears fans are thinking above 9 wins, but honestly being in the North it will be tough for anyone to get to 10 or eleven.
