I disagree, you need to have good WR's to throw too. We've said that for years and many people even said DJ Moore wasn't enough for Fields. You don't need 3 great WRs but one of them is 32 and clearly not the future. Going Odunze with the #9 overall pick was the right move. The only oline that was worth it was Alt that high. I can see Odunze being a top 10 WR for years to come. You may hate it but WR is a premium position in today's NFL.
i never said you didn't you just don't need a bunch of them. Name the teams w/qb's putting up big numbers that have equal to better weapons then the bears? you won't find many, if any. Hou/DC definitely don't.
Houston has Nico Collins, Diggs, and Tank Dell. Thats pretty comparable.

again feel free to disagree + the Bears have DJ Moore, Allen, and Odunze, Kmet, 4. You are kind of proving the point, you don't need this many options.

I could have included Schultz, but I thought we were just talking about receivers. How exactly does that prove the point that you don't need that many options? Cardinals had 3 1k yard receivers when they made it to the Superbowl in 08. Broncos had Demaryious Thomas, Eric Decker, Wes Welker and Julius Thomas during their successful run 10 years ago. Many roads can lead to Rome.
I see Brax had 83.4 pass blocking grade with zero sacks and zero pressures. He bounced back from his bad game against Rams.
My mother in law passed this past week and we had the services this weekend and today, so I haven't seen the game. How was Brax with his timing and hand placement?

Sorry to hear about your MIL. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Very sorry about your mother in law.
Regarding Brax, I can't comment because I didn't get to watch the game either. I did get it on the radio... reminded me of years past before the Bears games were all televised. But maybe this will help you watch Brax. It is every all-22 of Caleb's pass plays, so you can isolate on Brax. Just watching that video, I thought he looked very solid. The unit looked like they were all on the same page too. I don't know if some of this was due to the Panthers not being very good. But hey, the unit, and Brax got it done on Sunday.

Sorry to hear about your mom. I have the game recorded and I’ll take a closer look at it.
