That board is dying. I have been reading it (only reading) here and there over the last few weeks and the traffic and new thread creation is noticeably lower and poorer in quality. Even when there's legit news to discuss it doesn't seem to get much attention anymore. That place is dying of its own self-inflicted wounds.

I liked this post, but only because of its observations. It is sad to see a place I called home get beaten down so quickly and completely. It is past the point of return and I just can't stomach going back there anymore. And that's a pretty good sized stomach I'm carrying these days.

i haven't been back since i joined. it was a nice place to land after the CBMB went away, but maintaining something like that isn't easy- esp. if you let the inmates run wild a couple of times.

I specifically looked at the posts of (let's call them) "the usual suspects" and ironically noticed they seemed to be much more reasonable and about football the. The obnoxious no juvenile stuff we all got tired of. I don't know if that was a freak coincidence or if some people are having regrets (far too late now).
