All 22 breakdown of Williams, and the IOL *it's sad/bad*

I saw that and I think think you're overstating things a little bit. Yes, much of it was mostly execution (as it usually is) but there were mistakes up and down the offense. There were other culprits including the WRs. 

Additionally tape review like this doesn't look at the run game which did little to help things out. While Waldron's play calling seemed better to me after looking at the whole tape, there are still some concerns with certain player snaps and mixing the run and pass plays to compliment each other. 

The good news is this is still a new offense and execution can still be fixed at this stage. Hopefully they do it sooner than later. 

I kind of agree with all of it. The QB play was bad. The IOL play was bad. All on their own. And there were also stuff that was bad in other positions. Allen dropped an easy catch (very uncharacteristic), and there were a few others. But had the first two done well, it would have overcome the bad elsewhere. The play calling is also a question, but I am going to reserve judgement here as Waldron may have just been feeling his way around with Williams. And I also agree that this is too early to worry much. First game with a rookie QB that we won. Things could be a lot worse. I really believe that things will get better. However, I do worry a little about this next game with Houston. I hope Williams does not get shellshocked. They are going to go after him and he may have another bad game. I just don't want bad games from him to become a habit, lol

EDIT: I should add one thing. Yes, I was disappointed in Williams play. I should not be because it is not unexpected for a first time rookie not to play well. As a matter of fact, it is the norm. We just built him up too much. But my point here is that while I thought he played poorly, to boo the team as they came off the field at halftime was shitty. I know they were not booing Williams in particular (at least I hope not), but man... it's his first time out. You can't expect Tom Brady out there, no matter what his college accomplishments. Welcome to Chicago. But seriously, people need to have a little patience. The kid did not shit the bed. He just didn't really make difference. So crappy play but not crappy if that makes any sense.

Swift was brought in to help the run game. Obviously with the TN IOL, running down the middle was tough duty. Maybe Waldron didn't think he could run it around the edges either and so didn't run often? Or honestly, maybe he just didn't have as good a game plan as he should have. The run game would have helped move the sticks and helped Caleb. I agree

Hopefully the Bears can get it figured out.  That will take a lot of pressure off of Caleb and it will help extend drives too, keeping the D from getting gassed in games.  Sunday in Houston it's supposed to be hot and humid.  LOL, Ric you know Houston weather and how nasty it can be.  We are traveling down there for the game.  Actually, we are going to see my son and daughter-in-law & my new grandson.  But the Houston heat/humidity will be a factor in that Sunday night game.
