I didn't watch the Bears game but watched Williams highlights. I was highly impressed with his skill set. He just seems to have "IT".... WOW!
I liked how Caleb put this game into perspective when a reporter tossed him a softball question about his talent, that he could have used to highlight his play in this game. Instead he was candid and talked about how the team had worked hard to get to this point and how they had a lot of grinding and improvement and hard work they still need to focus on. Eberflus said much the same thing in his presser yesterday too. I'm paraphrasing both their comments but they both made it clear that while the team win was nice, it was just a first step of a journey. Lots of hard work ahead. Caleb comes across as a very mature person to me. Very humble. Extremely team-centered rather than self-centered.
I have two words on this ... Marc Trestman. And for the older Bears fans there was always Abe Gibron. Both were pretty terrible coaches.
We're going to have to set a place to met and dual to the death then.
I'm split between the two of you. My vote is for Abe Gibron, but Fox takes a close 2nd place based on win %. Based on mentality, I might have to go with Tresticles. Ol' Foxy never spoke to the team hiding in the back of the room. Trestman was the master of trying field goals on 2nd down...

No doubt Treatment lost that team and he coached and hired like DEF was an after thought. He's in my top 2 of worst Bears coaches. But Fox....he coached like he was looking forward to payday on Fridays, never developed a single player that I can remember, was brought in to "manage" the locker room and then insisted on trading every "problem" player. He oversaw cowardly game plans designed to lose by as few points as possible rather than go for wins. Then tried to claim credit for Nagy's first season only to back track as fast as he could the following season. IMO the John Fox era was a waste of three seasons. George McCasky got duped into hiring a "turn around expert" but instead got a tired and out coached has been.
DM me and I'll really feel you how I feel about Fox. And yes I still suffer from Irrational Anti-Fox Syndrome.

I also still suffer from IAFS, but I believe it was RAFS - Rational, not Irrational! A grade-school kid could have out-foxed Ol' Foxy.
Like I said, I'm torn. All 3 were terrible. I just lump all three of those turds together as the worst of all time.
And then I think of Nagy being himself, but then there was Wanny's back to back 4-12s....
Our HC history is almost as bad as our QB history.

No doubt. The Bear's HCs have been a long pile of nothing. I was mainly just disappointed that after the Trestman disaster, the organization decided to go back to a old DEF minded HC instead of taking a shot at an up and comer. It feels to me that from the end of Lovie the organization has bounced between extremes in their hiring.
Lovie couldn't get an OFF running so we'll hire Trestman. Trestman couldn't get the DEF running so we'll hire Fox. Fox flopped with the OFF so we'll hire Nagy. Nagy didn't work out so we'll hire Flus.
Anyway....here is my top five worst coaches. My Bear's life started with Armstrong. 1. Fox 2. Trestman 3. Nagy 4. Jureon 5. Wanny
