Personally, I think most fans are in the same mode. Not that I'm not concerned about our interior OL. Just that the staff is cutting a lot of slack when it comes to time off right now, especially for the veterans.
The time off for veterans is a delicate balance. I totally agree with getting them to the regular season healthy. It's just a balance of that along with getting them some work, especially units that need to work together like an offensive line. The Bears do have some money left for FA. Here is a recent updated list of remaining IOL guys. They are un-signed for a reason. It's a mix of really old guys with really bad guys. Our existing roster is better than these dudes (anyone with a pulse is better than most of these guys).
Phil Haynes Halapoulivaati Vaitai Mark Glowinski Justin Pugh Tyre Phillips Trai Turner Justin McCray Matt Feiler D.J. Fluker
I think the OL ship has sailed for 2024 and we need to wait until 2025 to fix the OL. I do believe our OL will set the ceiling for this new offense and Caleb Williams. Will it be high enough, or a low ceiling? Time will tell.

Even though I agree with you, I just can't type the words. This team has SO much potential this year
