VJJay and Pettis need to be cut tomorrow morning - or sooner.
Rypien had a great night, but his throws looked to me like they lacked pop and velocity. I went back and looked at this pre-draft profile and the knock on him was that he lacks arm strength and has tiny hands. But he does seem to make good/fast decisions with the ball. Bagent looks like he has a stronger arm (not a rocket arm by any means but better than Rypien). I'm hoping to see more reps by Bagent now in these next games.
I did like Collin Johnson's plays tonight. He looks like a "tweener" between a WR and a TE. But in this Waldron offense he might be a nice fit.
On a side note, I was expecting fireworks with the new kick return rules. But it seemed kind of boring to me tonight. Nothing bad. But just not the excitement thing I thought it might be.

I think it's all too new for any explosive plays/fireworks. They';ll need to work through the offseason to develop stuff and I'm sure all teams will be getting inventive as the season goes on.
