What about Chad Kelly, HOF Jim Kelly's nephew Dec 23, 2016 14:23:15 GMT -6

He's been a wild one for sure off the field. But looking over the scouting reports, he has a ton of talent. His uncle and godfather, Jim Kelly has worked with him developing him since he was a youngster. Would you even consider him if he was still there in the 2nd round?

With his ACL surgery about 6 or 7 weeks ago and his off the field baggage I don't expect him to go very high in the draft, if he is drafted at all.

The Senior Bowl is about a month away so I expect that Kelly will miss any of the post season all star games because of his knee. Kelly will only have the combine (assuming he gets an invite).

A recent snapchat pic just hit twitter about him being in a room where others were allegedly smoking pot. I've read some analysis of the picture that indicates that there is not any specific activity in the photo that is drug use. But with his history, the damage may already be done.

My guess at this point he would be lucky to be drafted in the 5th round.

My analysis sees blunt wraps and some weed. His hat deters me more from drafting him than smoking though..

Absolutely - watch the tape and you will agree. IMO he's the top QB coming out.

It's a shame to have that talent and just not have the emotional maturity to make the most of it. At the other extreme you have guys like Tim Tebow who are mature but don't have the physical gifts to be NFL-level quarterbacks... and of course you have a wide range of kids in between those two extremes.
