if the NFLPA can get it's act together, they cam get some thing real back in trade.? No tags? All first years on all contracts guaranteed, no void years.....

Ultimately it will be a 20 game season. Not right away, but 18 games and then 20 will be the endpoint eventually. It will happen due to the money to be make by everyone - TV, owners an players. It is all about the $$$ in the end.

its always about the money, and the owners being billionaires can hire better people than the players who are merely millionaires. In the end, its going to mean owners make mooooooooooore, while players only make more. Athletic unions still can't come up messaging that isn't "we're underpaid" which while being true compared to the owners isn't a winning line of attack when your audience is someone who simply wants to watch football on Subday afternoon while grilling a few burgers with friends before heading back to their $25 an hour job on Monday morning.
Next CBA the players will argue that they want more of the pot and the owners will counter with "you can make 10% more than you made collectively last contract but your % has to go down...and we'll give you every Tuesday off during the season--no practices--and Chicago Italian Beef stations in every facility." Players will fall over themselves to accept.
Expanded roster, bigger cap and 2 bye weeks. I’d like to see the bye weeks set up where either the entire afc (or nfc) has week 6 off and week 7 the other conference gets the next week off. Repeat weeks 12 and 13.
Whoa JABF, you get 20 games in 10 years then we're talking the European division:
1. London 2. París 3. Madrid 4. Franfurt 5. Amsterdam/Rome/Lisbon
I could be dead-wrong, but that is where I believe this is headed (International Football League) with Europe and South America in the mix at some point.
