Bears left off Pro Bowl roster for second straight year

Just a follow-up to my previous post.  The coaching of the offensive line and the backup quarterbacks has been nothing short of remarkable.  We lost Kyle Long, Grasu & our LT is a 7th round pick.  Massie looked like a total piece of crap early in the season.  Whitehair, a LT in college is switched to guard in training camp - then at the zero-hour is make our starting center.

Whomever is responsible for coaching up this OL must be incredible.  This is chicken salad made out of chicken shit for sure.  Great coaching job.

Then, how about the job done with the backup QB's?  Barkley was watching the NFL games on his TV  in September. We sign him off the street.  And now he is our starting QB.  For a 4th string QB (or 5th, I lost count over the course of the season on QB's) he is doing a decent job.  Kudos to the coach responsible for this.  Kudos to Pace and the scouting staff for finding and signing Barkley off the street like this.

And how about Vic Fangio?  The D got gutted with injuries also, but the D is currently ranked a top-10 defense in yards allowed (LINK).

I think these coaches are coaching their ass off this year.  But some fans will just point to the W/L record and want a new coaching staff.
