Warren said in his press conference that he’s “impatient.” I liked that. I think everything will go fine with Caleb, so long as the season doesn’t begin 1-4. If that happens, there will be problems inside and outside Halas Hall. But I’ll be very surprised if that happens.
I think the team and CW will be fine. It's okay to be impatient, but with the realization this is 2024 and not '25 or '26. We need to get from here to there, and the process takes some time, and these young players will need to climb the learning curve to get there too. It will be fine. Will we over-react this season with the ups and downs? Sure. I'll be out on the ledge at times and then drunk from the Kool Aid at time - probably within the same games too but it will be a fun season watching this team all come together step by step.

Okay, but don’t you want a Super Bowl before you’re dead? For senior citizens, that creates a sense of urgency and impatience — at least for me. For me, I think it goes back to the fact that my dad was a life-long Bears fan who died in 1983 — just missing the glorious ‘85 Bears. I don’t want that fate for myself.
