Yep, that would be my answer too.  But more like just plain why?  He's not an upgrade in any way shape or form so why trade for someone else's problem child.  Use the draft or UDFA and we can use that to get our own "problem child".

Good point but of those on that list at least Barkley has come closest to showing himself to be a capable NFL QB.  His lack of a shelf top arm is of some concern but overall he's been fairly accurate and poised in the pocket going through his
reads.

Worst case scenario is we sign him and let him compete for a starting job in 2017.  Shaw is still an unknown.  Hoyer is a known and IMHO he's worthless as a starter.  No decision has been made on Cutler yet and it may not be made immediately and then we have FA and the draft.

If anyone believes they actually have a clue of who might still be on the roster in May clue us all in because it pretty much looks like a wild card deal to me right now.
