+1 The heck of it is, Scales, even though he's 36 years old, could be our guy for another number of years to come. If I had a kid wanting to play in the NFL, I'd be fine if he wanted to be a long snapper. Those dudes seem to last forever with their careers. And we've had some good ones over the years here.
Two things to note after some quick research: 1. The Mannelly's only have a daughter, so we're screwed once Scales retires. 2. Interesting tidbit, Patrick is married to Tamara John, the daughter of former MLB pitcher Tommy John.
