I agree. Packers only had 1 QB sack (a costly one) when Leno was matched up 1v1 with Peppers. That was a sig. play but other than that, the O-Line gave Barkley protection AND to his credit, Barkley did a good job of feeling the pressure when it was coming and, for the most part, made good decisions about where to put the ball. His passes weren't always on point (and he had those 3 ints - really 2) but he did do a good job of spreading the ball around and finding the 'open' guy.

I was impressed with Meredith and Thompson this game. Both players showed up despite some rough conditions to play in - I mean their hands must have been completely frozen the entire game, how anyone can catch a ball in those temps is beyond me.

5 hurries and 1 sack. Those are great numbers considering he dropped back to pass 43 times. Good job OL.

It's not as bad as you think. They have gloves on which helps some. When on the the field they are running hard and taking on physical contact along with having adrenaline so that helps a lot. When on the side line they have big jackets on and can put their hands in front of the heater.

I spent the majority of the weekend at my brother-in-law's newly constructed house helping to hang dry wall. The normal air temp was -5 yesterday and it well about 10 inside the house. While working we were just wearing jeans, sweatshirt and a stocking hat. It was cold but not terrible while actually moving around.

We actually had to keep the beer in the cooler in order to keep it from freezing. I opened a beer, set it down to do some work, came back to drink it and it was slushy already. Took maybe 15 minutes.
