Jeffery is an upper-tier receiver in the prime of his career. The Bears? Well, they’ve missed the playoffs nine of the past 10 years. And chasing off quality players probably won't break them out of that funk.
But hey they don't need guys like Slausson, Bennett and Forte to help take the pressure off. Who needs quality players when you have so few?

They got White and Meredith to run out there year next season, and Bellamy who isn't really a WR but more of s ST ace who is just listed as a WR so expecting him to catch the ball is silly but he sure can get open.

Hey don't forget Miller who cannot stay healthy, or block, and D Brown who is basically the same as Miller, except he can stay healthy.

You forgot Paulsen who know just the right time for that holding penalty.
Bobby Massie might of started the season poor but he has gotten better throughout the season. Still wouldn't mind drafting a OT to compete with him or leno and have depth. But he is turning out to be a solid sign.
The OT's have gotten better w/the changing of QB's. 17 in 5 games w/Cutler and 8 in 10 games now after the strip sack. That's why scheme matters, when you have a qb that doesn't fit what you want to do, WCO 3 step throw the ball, then everyone else looks worse. Vise versa, when you have a scheme where the QB has to hold the ball for 5 steps and possibly longer then your OT's better be top of the line pro bowl caliber.
Neither Massie or Leno are capable of holding off pass rushers for 4-5 steps all game long, so the gameplan isn't set up for that; so when Cutler constantly tries to wait for the big play downfield he's hurting the OL.
It's why Hoyer and Barkley have both looked better then Cutler all year.

I'd like to believe ya' but under the circumstances I'm just gonna have to trust my eyesight vs your imagination.
In looking back at the Bears / Packers matchup, I CANNOT believe how vertical this game was. 74 Pass Plays 42 Rush plays combined in a negative 0 game. I did not see that as being the game plan. I thought it would be a ground and pound type of ball game.
I want to criticize the Log for that play calling BUT, for the most part, it worked out well. Very unexpected game.
I was too, but the reality is that GB for most of the first 3 qtr's told the Bears you aren't running w/Howard so beat us w/Barkley.
Yeah, once they started throwing all the time the run game opened up for Howard.

I hope this is some negotiating tactic and they bring back Jeffery.

Belliot said, "I was impressed with Meredith and Thompson this game. Both players showed up despite some rough conditions to play in - I mean their hands must have been completely frozen the entire game, how anyone can catch a ball in those temps is beyond me."
Probably their hands were numb. As a result they had to LOOK the ball in rather than try to catch once they felt it.
I think we have to bring AJ back regardless of cost now. There are just no good options. Meredith is probably the best candidate with upsiee, but upside is all it is right now. Also need a TE in the draft.

So your theory is that Cutler has looked better then his backups this year. What world are you living in? B/c I think in your world eyesight and imagination mean something completely different then what it does in the real world.
