It will depend on how well Wilson plays in 2024. It could go either way. Fields could go to Eagles or Falcons next year, if Wilson gets a new contract.

To the falcons as a backup. That's Kirk Cousins team for the next 4 years.
Eagles has Hurts under contract and just traded for the Steelers QB. That window is closed.
Im sorry, but why would I care about Fields from this point on? Even if he won a SB or fail miserably with Pitt, that doesnt mean he would do the same with us. He is gone. Godspeed!
Russell Wilson is 35 years old. He is no teams future.
He will be 36 in November.
But speaking of such things, there is a big debate on the Seahawks forum now over whether to draft a QB vs. Sam Howell is the future. I am in the draft a QB camp and want Bears to trade down to #16 and Hawks trade up to #9 to draft a QB. Most of them want to roll with Howell for the next couple years.

I want him to be good enough to play at least 51% of the snaps!

I am flabbergasted that they gave Fields away for a 6th rounder, but my BIGGEST ISSUE WITH ALL OF THIS IS:
If they were going to move on from Fields, they should have fired Eberflus and started fresh. We are now in a spot where depending on the outcome of the coming year, Eberflus may be fired and our rookie QB will be forced a whole new offense for year 2. I swear this franchise is nothing but a shit show
This is the craziest part about the whole thing IMHO especially with the recent history.. Fox > Trubisky, Nagy > Fields, & now Flus > 1st QB taken. Bears are in much better position fiscally, offense weapons wise & maybe even o line but what happens to Flus if they dont have success year 1 with a rookie QB? Are the Bears back to a new HC with an inherited young QB?
