I can't imagine the Bears would just go with a rookie QB1 and a near-rookie Division-II guy, Tyson Bagent. The QB room needs a veteran presence. Who do you think would be a good fit here?
LINK The Chicago Bears would be smart to bring in a veteran quarterback to backup Caleb Williams.
would be my top 3 options currently. Bagent needs to be the #2, I think they should be looking for someone as a #3 emergency options. Josh Dobbs maybe?

If we get Caleb Williams why not sit him behind JF1 for a season. Hopefully JF1 turns out in season 4 and then the Bears could for the 1st time ever, have legit options at QB. They'd have a tough decision to make if JF1 really lights it up. But it would the Bears a full year to get to know CWs character. If this scenario played out they'd have leverage to get a 1st rounder for Fields. I think contract-wise they'd need to pick up his rookie option by May which would be $22-23M for next season.
