I do like Maye. I am not sold on Williams, plus we would get more picks. And Tice does a good job of selling him. Must be the residual Tice fairy dust. That and the fact we know Tices are offensive geniuses

Like father like son? The Tice Pixie dust, passed down from generation to generation. It must be an actual family recipe they keep making or it would have all been used up long ago.
Hmmm, wonder what the Tice Family recipe could be? Adapted from the witch's brew in Shakespeare's Macbeth?
Fillet a hognose snake1
In a cauldron boil and bake eye of cave fish2 and toe of tadpole3.
Stir in wool of bat and tongue of mosquito, adder's fork and blind-worms,
Lizard scales and cuckoo bird feathers4.
For a charm of powerful trouble, like a hell-broth boil and bubble till a dry powder.
Voila, magic pixie dust.
1 hognose snakes play dead when threatened. Just like a Tice offense.
2 cave fish are blind and can't see. Just like Tice's gameplanning.
3 tadpole toes are very tiny and have little strength. Just like Tice's playcalling.
4 Well, Tice's offense is cuckoo so this must be the magic ingredient.

I really like Maye too, but i would be scared to trade down to 2. If we want Maye, we stay put imo.

LOL, I know. But his son, Nate, is a pretty sharp guy in his own right. But, yeah, I'd hope Nate would let us have some vintage pixie dust for whomever we draft this year :-)

Yeah, I thought of that. Poles seems like he likes to play Madden and the hype is all around Williams. The Bears are projected to take him. So the thinking might be that the only way to get Williams is to leapfrog the Bears (kind of like defensemen do to our OL). I am betting that whoever wants to go to #1 wants Williams, but of course, how can you be sure?

This is the QB I want if we go that route. Been saying that for awhile now.
I would rather have him than Williams. But I think I'd rather stick to Fields. But hell, I could be wrong on both. I am more sure of Maye over Williams than I am Fields over Maye, but I could easily do a twofer and be wrong on both.
