Anyone finding they're warming to the Bears drafting Caleb?

Fields is due $2.7m this season which is peanuts even for a backup.  

I was just referring to the fact there is a draft pick cost as well as a contract to plan for.  There were cheaper options for some of these teams that signed other people.  

What Green Bay did with Love could be an option though. They didnt know what they had in Love and it gave Love a little more security.
The 5th year option is dependent on the level of success. The highest is pro bowler. I think JF1 would be in low or mid which is $20M-$23M. Not positive, correct me if Im wrong. :-)

  We are only assuming the revolt though. How many players in the locker room have said that Fields is their guy? Hell even a few of the players that were just signed said the same thing. IF they are all true to their word. How do we NOT know that these same players WON'T revolt once he leaves and C.Will takes over?

  I don't care what happens at draft day much because either way we will have holes somewhere. All I am trying to say is these guys are all supposed to be Pro's and at the end of the day you either play or ship out. Eventually a player will revolt in his own way and well they have to get over it or see above.

  If Fields truly sucks like a lot of people think then some players don't know the game. That is cool, they have the talent to see it I don't. But when you see a player like Justin Jefferson screaming on social media for the Vikings to get Fields. I gotta think he might know a little something about the game and the player that I don't and I am okay with that. 

Oh and a sidebar and speaking of revolt. What will the Bears players feel about their own and our darling Nathan Peterman signing with the Saints with a promise to compete for the starter job ?!?!? Now that should start a revolt!
