That's what I hear when it comes to QBs. I've been saying it.

Well...to be fair, Johnny Knox probably would have gotten a second contract if not for his injuries and Alshon Jeffery probably should have but he had a bunch of injuries in 2015, then when he was franchise tagged in 2016 he was suspended for 4 games for PED's.

Out of the 11 that were drafted only Alshon, Anthony Miller and Kevin White were first or second round picks. It’s not like the Bears have really made that a priority in the draft...across multiple GM's.

I think we forget that Caleb Williams could also be a "mediocre QB" - LOL, I know that is blasphemy to even insinuate that quarterbacks bust in the NFL. But they do. Ask me how I know...

Because it wasn't in the past to remember. Its happening right now. No team wants to hand him a starting role or he would have been traded by now.
