Yeah, I know. I was really curious how it went and was looked for something.... anything on it.
Not to find anything at all two days afterwards in this age of instant news is a little curious. It's either really good or really bad.
Either they really like him and are trying to low key it or they just didn't like him too much.
Or.... I'm just impatient
Gotta admit these last few weeks before the draft are taking forever. It is making me crazy. Yeah, crazier than usual. I'm thankful we have had some NCAA basketball to take my mind off of it, a bit. Once basketball ends, it's a tough stretch for me because I just can't get into baseball. I have tried. Maybe the new UFL league will be worth watching. But yeah, I can't wait for the draft to roll around and we truly KNOW who is on the team for this coming season. I'm going to try to get to a summer camp that's open to the public too. I want to watch this new Shane Waldron offense with my own eyes.
I see the Bears have a regular season game at Houston this year. I'd love to get tickets for our family to meet in Houston for that game... I'd get to visit my new grandson... I see lots of Houston trips in the future
Bears play the Seahawks, too. If Bears win, I’ll have some fun with my pals on their forum. I still have people over there telling me “Bears suck!”

I have followed the Seahawks going back many years now, heck, going back to the Jim Zorn years, the beginning years. Not as a fan but more of them being one of the teams I liked to watch play. I think those "Bears suck" fans are in for a rude awakening this year. Bears will be a tough out this year for everyone. Even last year the Bears were beginning to look like an improving team as the season progressed.

Well, let me know
I don't care for basketball at all, but I seem to always be busy doing other stuff. It is counting days til the draft though. I want to know what we end up with so Poles can finish up getting whoever we still need to round things up. And I need to get close to Williams to let him know to grow out a neckbeard. He needs to understand how popular it makes him in Chicago. Plus it is the closest thing to pixie dust you can get. We'll have an unfair advantage if he grows a neckbeard.

I just assumed he'd start growing the neckbeard after the dinner with the Bears the other night. Hopefully he will wear the hallowed #18 jersey too.
EDIT: True story. My son really liked Kyle Orton when he was young. One day Kyle came to town and signed autographs at a local grocery store here in town, in Bloomington-Normal (no it wasn't a crowd there that day). My son was probably one of the few people on planet-earth to actually HAVE a Kyle Orton jersey and showed up to have it signed. KO was a very very nice young man and spent some time with my son (I got a great photo of those two talking together). KO seemed like a good dude for sure... LOL, he didn't show up in a big fancy sports car. He arrived at the grocery store driving a Prius.

Seemed like he was tight with his money. Inexpensive car and only paid for half a beard trim (only the part that wasn't on his neck)
Seriously though, that's a great memory for both yourself and your son. Good stuff. Lots of athletes are great people that were brought up with great values. And when they are dicks, they seem to be huge dicks (Penix?). sorry, that last part was too easy

Glass half empty view of #9 pick. Yeah, it could go this way. As a matter of fact, I have thought myself that this is a real possibility. Apparently author does not see top Edge being worthy of a #9 pick. I am not qualified to determine that. I dunno. Seems like the top Edge would be a good get at 9 unless the whole crop sucks this year
I have been trying to get people on the Seahawks forum to trade #16 so that I can draft JPJ. No luck. Maybe Poles can do better. They wouldn’t bother with the visit if they weren’t at least thinking about it. Now what happens if the 3 WRs and Alt are off the board, and Poles LOVES JPJ after the interview and ranks him blue? If the guy is Pro Bowl center for 8 years, isn’t that blue enough? The only problem is that butkus would have a heart attack, and I’d hate to lose him.

We don’t want any casualties. We’ll have to go with someone else
