George McCaskey has been very clear about this too.  Warren has complete control.  He is the "football guy" that Bears fans have been wanting for decades here instead of bean-counter Ted Phillips.  We (finally) got the guy we needed.  He has been here for a matter of months, far less than a year.  I'm pretty pumped that the family finally got this guy running the show.

I know.  It looks to me like the family wants to maximize the value of the business with the new stadium and a winning program.  It is all about the money.  If the family sells the franchise (and I could see them doing that... maybe Virginia realizes this too) they can pump up the value of that sale significantly by adding the sports campus & new stadium.  That's why I think the Arlington Heights thing will happen... all the other bidders for the stadium are probably just tactics to get the best AH deal on taxes.  And a winning franchise has to elevate the value too.  It is all about the money and that is why Kevin Warren is here... no more dinking around with Ted Phillips.  The fans are going to be the beneficiaries of this.  The Family gets the $$$$ and the fans get a better brand of football and a beautiful state-of-the-art sports stadium.  Pretty cool for us.
