I was just thinking if we look at Harbaugh for HC why not look at Georgia HC Kirby Smart. He has been very successful the lat 6 years or so and is only 48 yrs old. Not sure if Kirby would be interested but potentially franchise move if we could land him

I wonder if he'd be like some of these other failed coaches who were great in college but NFL ball was not a success for them. But of course whomever the Bears hire would be a risk to some extent. Harbaugh at least has demonstrated success coaching at the NFL level. Maybe Kirby Smart would be good though... who knows right? I just hope the Bears knows what is right though.

I know it isn't the popular decision if this happens. But personally I like it. Bring in MHJ and Newton - and upgrade the OL at center. And on top of that we have a number of draft picks and cap $$$ to further upgrade this team for 2024. I just believe this is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo wise. I am really excited to watch this team now in 2024, and I do believe this team can add some final "icing on the cake" pieces in 2025 and be super bowl ready.

If the offseason plays out exactly this way, I agree. Fields would throw for 4,000 yards with Harrison, Moore, Kmet. Harrison alone will be 1,300+.
