What do you think about his upcoming game? I'm thinking Justin Fields should be back for this one. We will be coming off a mini-bye week so players should be pretty rested up for this one and hopefully healthier. I'm curious about what everyone thinks we'll see in this one.
I have been awaiting these two Lions games all year. I’m feeling strangely optimistic that the Bears will come into this game ready and fighting like a bunch of wild dogs. Call me crazy.

I truly hope you are right.
But, in my heart, I'm expecting a complete debacle.

If it’s a complete debacle with Fields holding the ball too long, taking sacks, fumbling, missing open receivers, etc,. then I want to roll the dice with a new QB and new GM/HC.
If it’s inconclusive, we will be talking about this from now to April. LOL
Believe me, I have thought about that countless times since the Bears moved on from Lovie Smith. I completely agreed with letting him go. But the objective was to do better than what we had in Lovie Smith. Under Lovie Smith's tenure, the Bears accomplished all of those things listed and more (Super Bowl year, division champions multiple times, most wins in Bears franchise history after Halas & Ditka, Hall of Fame level guys played during his tenure here, and he had 10 wins when the Bears let him go). The Lovie Smith era had some mighty good football to watch... some incredible games and some of the best I've seen as a Bears fan. And since that era the Bears have been a lessor franchise. Butt ugly team for the most part. Obviously we didn't get "better" but turned into a crap franchise. NFL joke now.
