The more I think about it, the more I'm expecting the Bears to run the ball to take some heat off of Bagent. If they can't establish a credible run threat then Bagent is going to be in a crazy-difficult situation. I think it could be epic bad. It's one thing for Fields to face this after 33 NFL games, after facing the best college defenses while at Ohio State. But it's another thing for Bagent in his very 1st NFL start as a rookie, and coming from a small college about the size of a big high school.
Bagent is going to have to get the ball out in an instant. His receivers need to help him out by winning the ball-battles when the ball is just quick-chucked to the spot the receiver is supposed to be at. And catch the ball... don't drop balls tomorrow. And finally, that OL needs to NOT put the kid in situations where he needs forever-yardage due to stupid false start and holding, OL penalties. They need to keep Whitehair on the bench too... don't make the kid have to chase those wild snaps all day.
But, on the other hand, if Bagent can look decent on this offense then that will be quite an accomplishment. I don't expect it. But you never know what's gonna happen in a game, right?
