GGabriel: Time for QB change?

Good news is we have Tyson tied for 3 years + 4th RFA

A lot of us were fooled.  I was watching a guy who sets odds today.  He put it succinctly , “I thought the Bears would be decent this season. They’re not.”

Yeah, he's usually like a Bears cheerleader.  When you've lost Gabriel you've really bad.

It's unreal and almost unbelievable. If I didn't know better I'd say he was tanking on purpose to get out of Chicago or had gambling debts. That's how bad he has been.

The only logical explanation I can fully accept is that the coaching staff have beat all his talent out of him. Similar to what Fox started doing to Mitch (never take a risk and never turn the ball over). If that is what is emphasized time and time again, in my mind it explains his unwillingness to let it fly.

We know he can play, he did it in college and plenty of good QBs who played at a high level on elite teams have made the jump. But he just seems so timid. He's playing football like I play basketball--afraid to shoot, throwing weak passes because Im afraid to turn the ball over etc.
