I would fire both Getsy and Williams now. Today. Williams should have been fired last Monday.
We need to hire experienced coaches. I'm sick of all these first timers not knowing anything about football 101.
I'm not disagreeing with that. But the Bears even screwed it up with vet coaches (John Fox).
Yes, But I'm more referring to the OC and the DC.These guys are designing and calling plays. They NEED to understand the game. All the nuances. Not just run screen screen punt.
Fox was a major blunder. Hired for the wrong reason.

I know, my only point is that the Bears seem to get these hires wrong no matter who they hire. Young or old.
Yeah I agree with all the above. I am DONE with rookie HCs and Coordinators.
Is there anyone out there with a track record of success, particularly on offense, who isn't older than dirt like John Fox?
THAT is who I want for next year.
I'm okay w/ rookie HCs - it just needs to be the right one. In fact it's much more likely to find a rookie than someone w/ previous experience who's been fired before. Shanahan, McDermott, Lafleur, McVay all seem to have done a decent job even though they started of as rookies. And honestly, it's yet to be seen if guys like Sean Payton, Frank Reich, Doug Pederson, Bowles and McDaniels can have success w/ their second team.
