Bears last victory

NFL record set, Bears first team to lose 12 straight while also allowing 25 or more points doing it. This is the Flus Def, w/2 FA's and drafts centered around it. It is a 100% failure, you cannot keep Flus after this season.

Poles is GM and sold us on how improved the Team would be this year. I give him some blame but probably less than 10%. Still early in his career and generally like his draft classes. Unfortunate and untimely death in Nate Davis family saved Poles from some of my frustration.

Coaching staff is not getting it done. The Defense can't stop nothing, this is suppose to be Flus expertise. The HITS principle is just that a principle not a scheme. Not a fan of cover 2, after first few years of Lovie I had enough of it. Just has to many liabilities. I am no expert but always open receiver 10 to 15 yards when CB hands off to Safety. LBs need to cover short zones and plug running lanes, just never seems to work.

I liked Getsy but Fields isn't getting it done. That piece on Fields taking 1/2 second longer on his drops than average QB made a lot of sense to me leaving him much shorter time to make his reads. Potentially explains high sacks, and inability to find open receivers going thru reads. He has half the time as Ave QB to make proper read. Not sure if Coaching staff new this or if Fields just can't get it done. Either way they should know it and Fields after 3 years should have fixed it.

Moving forward, I would let Fields start next 2 or 3 games. Without major improvement, Bageant would be my starter to see what we have or if QB is my next draft priority.

Coaching staff needs to be replaced. Can't coach winning if all you know is losing. I wanted an offensive minded HC last time and want one even more now. I am still on Fence with Poles but think I would keep him. I do like his draft prowess and he is young. Let him grow more.

Yeah for a minute there (couple of weeks) it seemed like he was gettin it. There was already talk that hes gonna get some interviews for HCs.... God, what a favour that wouldve been!
