What are Justin Fields’ most important checkpoints in 2023?

Changing my expectation to still alive in November.

Regarding Fields, check out this fact:
In his 2nd start Stroud threw for 384 yards. Now in his 3rd year Fields still has to have a game throwing 300+.
I rest my case, thank you and good night.

TBH this last game was one of his worst. He gave up entirely on the run so he could prove hes a pocket passer QB. Which he is not.
And then we get that shitshow.

he's also, somehow, holding onto the ball even longer. Trust is a real thing, and you can tell there is nothing going on in the game that he trusts.

But the running we saw in the middle of last season is not there as well. It's almost as if he's running a checklist in his head and he's just not playing he's thinking. All QBs have to think, I'm not saying play street ball. But he's lost that ability to simply play and I put that on coaching. I am not making that excuse for him, he needs to speed up his processing

I also agree with whoever said by now we should see it. And we don't. He's failing, coaching is failing, FO is failing...

I want to give him every benefit of the doubt because another reset looms and good grief, it's another reset.
