D.J. Moore is the best player on the Bears entire roster.

Well I don't know if you realize this or not...but the first 5 years is all we have to go on on DJ Moores career. That is his career thus far. Steve Largent played till he was 35 and stayed amazingly healthy, playing in 14 or more games all but twice in his career. You're making A LOT of BOLD statements. If DJ Moore plays to his 5 year average the next 8 years, you're looking at 950 catches, and 13.6k yards. And thats just if he plays to his average, not taking into account potentially playing with Justin Fields for the rest of his career, who at this point is the best QB he's ever had.

How exactly can you compare DJ Moore to a Largent...who hasn't played a game in almost 35 years, when it comes to route running or as players in general? They're two VERY different receivers. Largent was slow...a very good route runner, but he had unbelievable hands. DJ Moore is an explosive, FAST, physical receiver who eats up yards after the catch and in the open field, and has a penchant for making catches on terribly thrown passes. Is he a technician as a route runner? No, but he doesn't need to be, nor is he asked to be. For what its worth, Eberflus really likes Moore's route running ability, especially considering the speed he has: “It’s rare when you’ve got a guy that can run the route and have the route discipline that he has and the football IQ that he has, and then also that speed and that talent he has,” he said. But what would the HC of the Bears know?
