Thanks! I do our steaks now and toss them on a cast iron pan with a little oil and minced garlic. Excellent!

I cook almost everything on (or in) cast iron. I like how versatile it is... you can use it in the oven, stovetop or outdoor grill. I think the food tastes better cooked on iron like that (the original non-stick surface). I have quite a collection of cast iron (you name it I probably have it). My mom cooked on it, so I learned to cook on it growing up (I still have a dutch oven from my mom's that probably was her mom's before her).

I did some trout fly-fishing there, and caught a LOT of rainbow trout - including this monster. I battled that guy for a long time before I landed him. I absolutely love to fish. Aw man, too bad you didn't tell us that before you actually went there. I spent the last four weeks in the Carolinas doing business as well as visiting family and friends. Was traveling back and forth between Greenville and Columbia. GV is not that far away from the Blue Ridge Mtns. We could have met halfway.
