We're going to have to hold him accountable for making the correct decision to rip the band-aide off, rebuild, and execute the perfect tank job to get the #1 pick in a year when 14 teams need a QB? Ummm...ok....
What we'll hold him accountable for is if he can't restock this team and make them into a winner. They weren't a winner before....it's why Pace and Nagy are no longer here. The fact you're upset about him executing this season to perfection to potentially set this team up for future success is about the WEIRDEST thing ever. Its almost as if you're mad about it just to have something to be mad about. Kind of like Ric is mad about how Poles is going to rebuild even though it hasn't happened yet. Just mad to be mad.
A) You have made that claim ("way more necessary") a dozen times but have steadfastly refused to back it up with anything specific. I know I have challenged you multiple times and Butkus has too. You have no answers. Just a couple days ago I laid it all for you again here [ chitown-bears.com/post/106990 ] and I noticed you quickly turned tail and stopped posting on that thread to avoid answering the specific questions. You know for a FACT (and have posted so several times) that the "worthless bums" you mentioned were overwhelmingly one-year rentals only. There will be major turnover from here and you fully know these "bums" are NOT THE TEAM. They will be replaced this offseason and next as better players are acquired & drafted. YOU KNOW THIS.
B) It does truly feel like you just "want to be mad". You can't justify a legitimate reason to be mad but you just seem to like it. Regardless, it's getting pretty weird. Especially since Poles just executed pretty much the perfect tank season giving us a chance to reset and get the arrow pointing back upwards soon. If he drafts 4 ILBs, a Safety, a running back, and a kicker in April, I'll be right there with you grabbing a pitchfork, but until then the man hasn't done anything he shouldn't have done and hasn't made any costly mistakes. How about we give him a chance and stop carping about stupid shit from a year ago? Until you can back it up, its stupid and just trolling at this point.
