Being reported, that it's rumored the Browns might take Mitch the Itch w/the #1 overall pick; they looked into trading backup w/4 teams in the top 10, but the price might be to high.
Good news, my plans have changed some. I'm still going fishing this afternoon but I'll be home in time for the draft now and, yes, I get to go during work days occasionally. The weeks where I work on Saturday I get to take a weekday afternoon off. Usually it's a Friday afternoon but this week I'm doing it on a Thursday.

I'm not buying it, just saying that's what's being reported as rumored.
670 has a guy on that talks about the economics of the nfl draft. Said a 1st round pick is likely to be out of hte league in 5 years as they are to make a pro bowl; so trading multiple 1sts to move up in the first is a bad idea; he also said that the QB position is more then 2x's the value of the next most valuable position...which is why they go higher then they normally should.

A big factor with QB's going in round 1 is the 5th year option as well. Economics plays a role. If you hit on a QB you want to be able to use that option year. That doesn't exist after the 1st round.
