The Bears traded up to get Mitch so that they could ensure a trade w/the Browns for more picks.
If they keep him, they have their qb of the future. Glennon starts this year, Mitch backups, next year competes w/Glennon for the starting role, 3rd year is likely starting. If they trade him, if they net the 12th pick and more picks in the 2nd through 3rd rounds then the net is better then the trade; and they still have a shot to get their qb and more.
Absolutely. If we were gonna take a QB up high, Trub was the guy. Watson has since been passed on by SF and NYJ, both of whom need QBs. Obviously he's not the hot shit prospect so many thought he was.
