Cromartie to Bears?

I don't get the reasoning behind bringing Cromartie in, honestly. No one is really expecting this team to make a deep playoff push this year, correct? Then what's the point of band-aid'ing the situation with a 32 year old player on the downswing of his career? I like some of the developmental young guys we have, specifically Glenn and Callahan, and would much rather see them get some PT.

This year should be more about evaluation and development than anything else imo
