I like how we looked the last game, but it's kind of funny. As soon as we have a really bad game, then everyone wants to think that we may lose out and whenever we have a good game, many think that we will win out. The trend has been bad games that we have lost. There has been one good game. To me, the trend needs to shift. And for me anyway, the key word is trend. That means stringing together enough wins or losses to establish something can can even be called a trend.
I liked the last game and think that we may really have turned the corner or be about to turn the corner. But we said that at the beginning of the season and we say that regularly. I want to see how we play for the next two games before I even attempt to rekey on the number of wins. We should beat TB though. Hell, with the teams we have played this season we should have beat most if not all of them anyway.
The bye came at a perfect time, the play calling looks like it took a huge step. Some key guys are going to come back. The Vikes game brought some confidence and everything is set for a potential run of nice games, but until I see it happen, I'm going to just stay quiet and enjoy the season.
If they make a run, I hope to God they get into the postseason. I don't want a crappy season with a crappy draft number to boot.

It still comes down to establishing that trend just as you posted. Even a 6-2 finish to end up 8-8 should provide them with a tail wind going into 2017 and a pick in the top 20. It may be as much myth as fact but I see less risk at times in the picks from 11-20 than I do in the top ten unless you have one of the first two or three and can get that can't miss guy.
If what they say about this QB class is true and a QB is our prime target we may find that guy between 11-20 and he may actually be the best fit for us. I think the closer we can come to a guy with a similar skill set and size to Cutler the better off we are. Consistency and low turn overs is what we need more than anything. Find the guy who can do that.
My original projection was 8-8 and now I'm going with 5-11. I know they are playing better but they are still going to blow some games they should win. I think they only get 3 more wins but I do think they can do better than that, just trying to keep my projections realistic.

Drafting is sure a funny business. You can strike gold in the bottom half of the draft just as easily as in the top 15 picks. I just hope Pace nails a first round pick for once.

No doubt White has been slow to reach the performance expected of a top ten pick and the injury excuse only carries so far with me. I'd probably be more down on him if it weren't for the fact that Receivers Coach CuJo is still very high on him.
Floyd will have to show that these last two games weren't simply a flash of what he can do. I do see some incredible athletic ability I just want to see it game in and game out. Top ten picks are expected to do that even if not all of them do.
