It's been a real roller coaster season. I started out with a 9-win prediction. Then adjusted that down to 3-wins when things looked mighty bleak. This afternoon I was thinking we ought to re-visit our predictions. Anyway, here's the new thread :-)

On the old board I believe my thoughts were between 7-9 and 9-7. Back then, if I had to choose a specific record, I was saying 8-8. The way things have gone, 7-9 or even 6-10 are looking a lot more likely. I concur that without injuries the Bears record would be at least 4-4.
Started the season at 10 wins. That went south fast. We're playing better lately and we have our starters coming back. But I'm sure we'll have a couple more injuries so instead of 8-9 wins I'm voting 6-7.

7-8 Been my call from day 1
I thought there were problems with the secondary, I thought the OFF would struggle to score points, I thought Hoyer wasn't the answer if Cutler went down and I had doubts the running game (ie Langford at the time) could pick up the slack from Forte.
I was wrong about Miller replacing Bennett, and wrong that White would generate 800 yards of OFF. Even without the injury I didn't see much improvement from him. I also thought Miller would be on IR by now.
After that first game I thought our OL was going to be really really bad. Grasu was gone for the season. Whitehair looked bad in that game. Massie was bad. I thought we were flat screwed. But right now the OL looks decent. We have a decent RB corps. Cutler is back, and he's looking pretty good too. Vic Fangio has definitely shazzammed me with the defense, in spite of the injuries that hurt us there, he's done a decent job with what he had left.
I'm feeling pretty good about watching the 2nd half of the season unfold. I'd love to see the Bears pound the crap out of the Tampa Bucs on Sunday. It would be a big confidence booster to curb stomp a team now.
I'm going to predict 9 wins. That's probably the Kool Aid talking but I'm going with it.
I though 10-6 was possible but 9-7 was more realistic 'til the injuries began and Fox rectum puckered enough to make diamonds out of coal. Both are still possible however unlikely.
Had to go 4-5 wins just going off the year so far...definitely will believe 6-7 if the offense can start putting up more points. If they can't break that 20 point line on their own without the help of the defense then it would be hard to see them winning too many more.
