Here's a novel idea for a college coach who want's to win - run a pro system - then you'll have every great h.s. QB ( with any brains & aspirations to go pro ) wanting to play for ur team . Then the pro ranks will have more NFL ready QB's coming out of college .
But they don't Blue because the spread offenses many run give them a better shot at winning with lesser QBs which is another reason why those QBs who do make it are not as well developed now. College coaches are paid to win and are often under the gun to do it far more than pro HCs. They don't care if their guy is pro ready or not just as long as he's ready to win for them.
