Don´t look now but Kellen Mond is going to rise up the charts and some sites are even projecting him as a day 1 pick. He has really good upside, decent size, and is very mobile. I think there is some concern with his arm strength or accuracy. Winning the Senior Bowl MVP has opened scout´s eyes even more on Mond.

He looked good in Senior Bowl. And check out his game against Clemson...
The thing that impresses me most is that with his quick decisions in the pocket, mobility, and SUPER QUICK release on his passes, he is going to be extremely difficult to sack. I don't think he will still be on the board when the Bears draft in the second round.
EDIT: I checked the numbers. Mond was sacked only 7 times this season, and 8 of his 10 games were zero or 1. By comparison, the great Trevor Lawrence was sacked 16 times. Mond was not sacked in the Senior Bowl, but Jamie Newman (other QB on his team) was sacked over and over.
Somehow, his style reminds me of Steve McNair. Steve also had a pretty compact release, but Mond is even quicker. He holds the ball right up by his right ear and just fires it from there...no big wind-up like Trubisky (or standing around in the pocket too long).

Will be interesting to see how he moves up mock draft boards. Cause I don't see him anywhere yet.

Bears pick: Teven Jenkins · OT School: Oklahoma State | Year: Senior (RS)
Jenkins is a rock-steady tackle with experience on both sides of the line, though he'll likely line up at right tackle in the NFL. He plays with a nasty demeanor and has excellent hand and core strength.
QBS go: 1-Lawrence Jags 2-Wilson Jets 12-Lance 49ers 15-Fields Pats
