We still have to play four more games this season...
True, but I was hoping it was against the 49ers..
Sayer's record was also against the 49ers. 6 touchdowns in 1 game (back when the team played at the old Wrigley Field no less). That one will be hard to break.

The stat I saw was four rushing touchdown's You are right. That will be hard to break.. Even Walter couldn't break it.

Before his injury, Sayers was the greatest RB I have ever watched play the game of football - and that includes Walter Payton. But his knee injury was devastating because back then they didn't have the surgical skills they have today, and knee surgery was butchery. He did come back, and if memory serves me right, had a 1,000 yard season after the injury. But he was never the same guy. Not even close. He had the moves of Devin Hester in his prime - but as an RB. Lightening agility. Your heart skipped a beat every single time he touched the ball as an RB. He was that exciting to watch.

I didn't get a chance to see him play, but as for Jordan, if the continues to play like he is doing right now, I think he has a good future with the Bears.

+1 He is solid and fun to watch. He runs with a lotta heart too. Never gives up an inch. Love him.

Of course the inj made him a bust b/c inj's apparently matter
Good stats, people need to start giving this Bears OL some credit. Every post game I keep hearing them say well look at that Dal OL, and what if the Bears had that OL. I'll be honest, I don't think the Bears OL is that far behind that Dal OL. The Bears are able to open up holes for the RB to get to the 2nd lvl. The Bears OL, when the QB doesn't hold onto the ball for a year, doesn't give up a lot of sacks 7 sacks in 10 games when Cutler isn't starting. 17 sacks in 5 games when he does.
This OL is really good, and they aren't even at full strength. They are allowing the RB's to play to their ceiling every week. And that's not to take anything away from the RB's, Howard specifically is looking like a legit steal in the draft. He wasn't expected to fall to the 5th, and you are seeing why he shouldn't. If it wasn't for Dak in the 4th, he would likely be the steal. Imagine Dak/Howard as the Bears future, both taken in the 4th and 5th rounds; Pace would be idolized.
