So ... we see 'Good Jay' ... against a banged up injury depleted team , that currently has NO offense ... because they have no running game , and crappy 0-tackles ... and we beat them , and all is right with the world ?
Where have we seen a crappy , injury depleted team , with no 0-tackles , that gets beat ... team before ? Oh that's right ... US .
Sorry , but if you think this was a 'big win ' - then ur really drinking the kool-aid .
And maybe we all oughtta take stock in how important 'health' is to the 'win/loss' record for any team ( us included ) ? and how a QB actually USUALLY plays against teams that are operating at normal strength ?
This 'win' was like beating the other car in a drag race when that car was only firing on 2 cylinders .
1 Minnesota 2080 297.1 1432 204.6 648 92.6 104 14.9
Ya' know I get it that some of you want to rein in the kool-aid drinking and back patting but could you at least make an honest attempt at getting your facts straight so I don't have to do it for you.
So you're right. They were using backup OTs but they had ZERO to do with the Vikes defense which was quite healthy and we dominated them most of the game. They hadn't given up as much yardage to a RB in an entire game as Howard got in just one run. They average giving up 204 ypg passing and Cutler had 252. They average giving up 15 points a game and we got 20. It would have been 24 if AJ had caught that first TD pass Cutler sailed at him and he usually does but it was early and they weren't in sync yet.
The Vikes defense wasn't firing on 2 cylinders at all it was firing on all 8 and we smoked 'em. So give a little credit where credit is do will ya because a post like yours just looks like you weren't watching the game or don't really know much about the details so you look for excuses to make your point when there really isn't one to be made.
