Now if we can just get a competent game managing QB.
Pace has to figure out how to build an NFL offense. Those pitiful offensive efforts, including 3-points of scoring in some games last year, are not gonna get it done in 2020 any more than it brought us wins in 2019.

I 100% agree, it all starts with the QB position. Get an average NFL QB to compete in our shrinking window and use the draft for a speedy wr, guard, and safety...

Im just worried that these 3 big boys (and big salaries) - Mack, Quinn and Hicks will not endure the whole season. And if one, or God forbid two, are out - its a totally different story.
If im not mistaken these guys are all 30 or very close to it. Not much chance all 3 endure the whole thing. Hopefully im wrong.

And if the draft is as deep as some are saying at OL, pick up a young OT too. Even if he's just a OT "project" this year and is on the practice squad.

I thought the exact same thing, Alex. But hopefully it's not a major injury and if one or more go down during the season they can come back... especially if we make the playoffs.

Quinn isn't exactly known for his health, but I love the signing. I always said I was ok getting rid of Floyd if we could get a better player to replace him. Quinn is a better player. What I'm wondering is how this impacts the defense now. Will we see more of a old school Baltimore Ravens 3-4 defense? I'm guessing so. That means that the secondary is going to be in man to man more.

I'll just be happy if DBs aren't in a 10 yard cushion every other snap.

LOL...well, that depends. If they suck in press man you might want those 10 yard splits back again.

Well you're not going to be seeing anything different with Fuller. That's his thing. He likes to jump routes. You can't really do that with press coverage. It's why he has more interceptions than Prince, who preferred tight coverage.

They actually worked well together bc prince had his guy covered leaving fuller's man looking more open.
