It's no big deal.  I really wasn't posting there much anymore.  I would like to say "goodbye" to folks there though.  If anyone feels like it, post over there that I wish them all well & goodbye.  No hard feelings towards anyone & good luck to all.

You made me check mine too, but I have no earthly idea why. Maybe to see if the end is really near.

At this time, @ski-Whiz has not decided to close up shop. He's simply weighing his options and put out a couple "what if" kind of feelers. Ownership of a board takes time, passion, time, dedication, time, funds and time. Sure, you can go with the vanilla options that a free board allows. Those take no time and hardly any funds. But, like most of us, Ski isn't content to do something half-assed. He would rather whole-ass it, and spend the time, etc. to make the board the best it can be. For various reasons he has found himself dedicating more time to other real-world things that actually matter such as wife, career, higher education, etc. While there may be other reasons at play, those are for Ski to comment on.

But (and I say this without Ski's approval) if someone desired to take over the board, and contacted Ski about the specifics, I'm sure it might make his "moving forward" decision a bit easier for him.


Ski apparently is not content to run a half assed board. THat is why he has all the content he has. His non half-assed definition of the board does not seem to extend to moderation. LOL, someone who I believe is a   reborn Grimson even went as far as to praise the moderation of the board  saying that it is world class. In fact, it IS probably hard to find another hands off board that will leave those two in charge. Not hard to see why he likes it there. This like trying to pry your eyes off of a train wreck. THey have new stuff all the time. Going to need more popcorn.
