Some make reference in some form to either NE as a team, or their HC in general as some sort of measuring stick...any defense/argument that's started with, "well look at NE", is not that great lol YEAH< IT"S NEW ENGLAND and BILL ****ING BILICHICK!!!
Ok, so then Minn was mentioned, which i get since they lost their starting QB and RB...but the Bears don't have that defense, so that's a poor comparison imo the Bear's defense have not allowed a game high of 16 points to any opponent all year and don't have 12 turnovers in 5 games...Trump would call those "Yuge Numbers!" for a defense.
Ok, then i heard Dal...They have 6 people on IR..the Bears have 13 players on IR, 6 of whom were projected starters and that doesn't include Wilson as a possible 3rd/4th...and maybe take off McPhee soon, but still!!! 6 projected starters on IR!!!
vs. Dal 6 players in general...
Then the Chargers where Bill said "No team has had season ending injuries like the Chargers."...yeah...yes a team has, and they are called the Chicago Bears!!...this is one of the reasons the Bears are 1-5. And to talk about a team that is 2-4 is not really saying much....wow! could we have really been 2-4!?!?
EDITED: Bill is 100% right...the Chargers are technically in the lead for the "season ending injuries" trophy as it stands now...although we are talking a small difference, and talent can be debated, and this fact still doesn't help defend the rest of his quote, which was one reply that caused this unusually posting by me...well here it is..."It seems like every year the blame is on injuries with this club but then I look at the Bears talent on IR and it doesn't compare to other team's talent on IR and with much better records. "....if 2-4 is a much better record then i am a mind reading unicorn!...but you are 100% correct about them leading the league in "season ending injuries", and i apologize for MY misunderstanding.
Then i hear they don't use AJ....yet he is the most targeted player on the Bears roster at 44, followed by Miller(39), Royal(37), White(36), Meredith(35), Howard(19)...
yeah AJ is not involved...
Then there are the FA loses...Forte is not tearing it up and in fact his ave/carry is his lowest since his 2nd year in the league right now....BM has worse #'s than Aj and the NYJ are 1-4 going into MNF...is that something to brag about or miss? probably not...
And don't mention Bennett without having that recent interview on hand...pretty sure that guy isn't cancerous to a team like AJ said.."why didn't he say that when he was here?"...
I'm not trying to say this is the ONLY reason they are 1-5, but to disregard the facts of injuries like some seem to do on here, is just downright ignoring the truth and the influence it can have on a team that is in the position the Bears are with "some" talent and no depth.
