I haven't seen anything on him lately except his stupid TV commercials. I'll keep an eye out for it Thursday. Hope to be surprised but not holding my breath.
OK Maybe I can help a bit here. Rogers is getting plenty of time in the pocket but now has accuracy issues. This coupled with below average WR's (other than Jordy) and BAD RB's compound the situation. His chickens have come home to roost and the HC who is now calling the plays has shown that he shouldn't be even close to the playbook. Doesn't make the Bears any better but explains the packers woes.
Mike McCarthy has an offense built around defeating the cover two. He knows where all the holes are and the receivers would be there for Rodgers... But now defenses aren't rushing the Packers and playing man. Receivers aren't good enough to beat the man and get open. Rodgers' rhythm is off to the point where even when he has an open receiver he hesitates or isn't stepping into his throws.... I have to wonder if the game is passing Mike McCarthy by....

hey mpbears68, do you think i can't google and see GB run D is top 10? do you think i missed howard versus Jags? do you think i expect any qb on the roster to be better than Cutler? i rely on stats in my professional life and have great respect for vegas odds makers. i am also not result driven. i understand what 80% chance to rain means: i bring my umbrella and if it doesn't rain I DIDN"T MAKE A MISTAKE. i am also a bears fan and against odds want my team to win. i want to see if young guys can play. Barkley looked slow to read D, he threw late to the middle of the field like a guy that is not prepared to play against nfl defenses. he also made better deep throws than hoyer in all of his starts.
to spite our bad hc and terrible adjustments i still want my team to win every week and prefer a sarcastic "we got this" to your typical bitching ang moaning.
It was a pretty decent look, but I did not like what the look showed me.
+1 The guy has a career QB rating in the 30's. And he had a QB rating of 18 in our game. I hope we get to see a lot of him this season though. Gotta beat out Cleveland for that high draft pick next year. Barkley would be a great player to help us do that.
